This website is operated by FCT Forensic Limited, Nairobi, Kenya. By using the website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.

2. No professional advice and no engagement

Everything on this website — service descriptions, insights, case studies, Academy material and the diagnostic tools — is general information. It is not legal, regulatory, accounting, audit or investigative advice, and it does not take account of your circumstances.

Using the website, completing a diagnostic or sending an enquiry does not create a client relationship with FCT. An engagement begins only when scope, terms and acceptance checks have been agreed in writing between us.

3. The diagnostic tools are indicative

The tools apply fixed scoring rules to the answers you give. They are structured self-assessments, not predictive models, audits or assurance work, and they cannot verify anything about your organisation.

Their outputs — scores, bands, maturity levels, heatmaps and person-day ranges — are indicative planning aids only. The Investigation Scope & Effort Calculator expresses effort in person-days and is never a price, quotation or fee estimate. You should not treat any output as a finding, a compliance conclusion or a basis for a decision without professional input.

4. The Regulatory Change Monitor is a sample

The Regulatory Change Monitor contains illustrative sample entries created to demonstrate the format of a monitoring dashboard. The entries are not a regulatory feed, are not verified, and must not be relied on as current or accurate information about any law, regulation, guidance or deadline in any jurisdiction. Always check primary sources and your regulator.

5. The FCT Advisor is automated

The FCT Advisor is a rule-based guide that matches your words to prepared answers and links. It is software, not a person, and it does not give advice. Treat its responses as navigation help only, and speak with our team for anything that matters.

6. Acceptable use

When using this website you agree not to:

• submit unlawful, defamatory or knowingly false material through any form
• send personal data about third parties, or confidential documents, without an agreed secure channel
• attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the website
• present the website’s outputs as FCT findings, certification or endorsement

7. Intellectual property

The content, methodology descriptions, tool logic, design and branding on this website belong to FCT Forensic Limited. You may read, print and share pages for your own internal, non-commercial use with attribution. Any other reproduction, adaptation or commercial use requires our written permission.

8. External links

Where we link to third-party sites or services, we do so for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

9. Availability and liability

The website is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that its content is complete or current. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FCT Forensic Limited is not liable for loss arising from reliance on the website or its tools. How information is handled is set out in our privacy notice. In short: the diagnostics and recommendation features keep data in your browser, forms prepare an email in your own mail application rather than submitting to a server, and analytics are off by default.

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. We may update them as the website changes; the date below reflects the most recent update. These terms describe how we make the website available and have not been prepared as a substitute for advice on your own position.
